In view of the low efficiency and high operation cost of the rural logistics network node system, the ministry of communications recently issued the notice on further strengthening the rural logistics network node system construction.
The circular proposed that local transportation authorities should promote the integrated development of existing network facilities such as transportation, trade and trade circulation and postal express delivery, and speed up the building of a number of network nodes with outstanding rural logistics functions and remarkable benefits of serving "agriculture, rural areas and farmers".
The next key tasks include: node layout, construction and renovation of county-level rural logistics centers, strengthening the connection and integration with commercial markets and agricultural capital centers, etc. The rural logistics service point of the village level is built by using the farm shop in the administrative village.
The county-level rural logistics center should set up functional blocks such as transportation organization, information transaction, storage service and express delivery e-commerce. Rural logistics service stations and rural logistics service stations at the village level should cover the basic functions of express collection and delivery and e-commerce service.
